Colasanti On The Cover!

A few months ago, I received a call from Randy Reid, “Editor at Large” for the new Dojo Digest magazine for the martial arts industry.

During the phone call, Randy asked me if I’d be willing to do a cover story interview for their premier issue. I was quite flattered and gladly accepted his gracious offer.

Having been directly involved with the publication of Martial Arts Professional magazine from 1996 – 2008, I was directly responsible for putting many awesome individuals on our cover, i.e. Joe Lewis, Zig Ziglar, Steve LaVallee, Jackie Chan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dawn Barnes, Tony Robbins, Jhoon Rhee, Brian Tracy, Jean Claude Van Damme, Tom Hopkins, Evander Holyfield, etc.

However, I never put myself on the cover, though I had many opportunities to do so, being that I was President of the company. It just didn’t seem right to me.

So this was all the more reason that I felt so honored when Dojo Digest magazine called. They could have chosen anyone in the martial arts industry, but they chose me.
