First MASOU Convention ROCKED!

First MASOU Convention ROCKED!

A few weeks ago I had the honor of doing the keynote talk at the very first MASOU convention in Clearwater, Florida.

I must say – my good friend Randy Reid did a heck of a job throwing this show. It was a BUTT KICKER!

Actually, it reminded me of the old NAPMA conventions that took place back in the day. There was virtually no selling from the stage, no agendas and no attitudes.

Everyone at the event (speakers and attendees) was there to share ideas, learn from one another, network and grow. The martial arts spirit in the room was so thick, you could have cut it with a sword.

I’ll add, that to my delight, this show featured no unnecessary or expensive “bells and whistles.” But what it DID feature was truly rock-solid content for a very affordable tuition. And that’s what’s important anyhow. Right?

I thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic presentations from Roland Osborne, Professor Brannon Beliso, Allie Alberigo, Fred DePalma, Scott Krenz, Tu Le and others.

After hearing Master Le speak, I now understand how it’s possible that Top Kick Karate is generating over four million dollars per year in just five locations.

Amazing!

I also had a blast at the after-party, which took place at Ric Martin’s completely remodeled school in Largo, Florida.

Talk about gorgeous…

Authentic Martial Arts is an incredible state-of-the-art facility, on a lake, that will make your jaw drop. If you’re ever in the area, I suggest you contact Master Martin and ask his permission to visit. You will be stunned!

Anyhow, the first MASOU show was an excellent, grassroots martial arts business event and I was so very happy I was invited to be a part of it. I’m already looking forward to their next show and I encourage Randy Reid to keep up the great work.
